Job description for Business Development Staff at Five Pillar Experiences
Job Responsibility:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, outreach, and direct visits to potential clients and business partners.
- Conduct client approaches, presentations, negotiations, follow-ups, and oversee the sales process through to closing and agreement.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to increase retention, repeat business, referrals, and opportunities for new collaborations.
- Manage external communications and relationships with clients, partners, communities, institutions, and stakeholders to build a positive company image and increase brand awareness.
- Represent the company at events, networking activities, partnership initiatives, and other external activities that support business development and brand exposure.
- Identify client needs and coordinate with internal teams to develop and deliver appropriate solutions and programs.
- Maintain and regularly update client databases, sales pipelines, activity records, and next actions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all activities and results are properly documented in accordance with company SOPs and contribute to achieving established business and performance targets.
Quailifications:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any field, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous work experience in the tourism and/or travel agency industry, particularly in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Client Relations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in interacting and communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong attention to detail.
