Job description for Business Development Representative at Thoth AI
Location: Jakarta, Surabaya
Role Overview: A field-based Business Development position focused on growing and managing the local F&B merchant ecosystem (from street food to popular restaurants) within assigned commercial districts.
Core Responsibilities:
Acquisition & Pitching: Conduct daily field visits to prospect, pitch, and independently negotiate sign-ups with new F&B merchants.
Onboarding & Activation: Guide merchants through store setup, pricing, menus, and promotions to ensure quick activation and order growth.
Account Management: Maintain ongoing relationships, offer operational and pricing guidance, and consult on marketing tools to drive long-term GMV.
Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate with internal operations, content, and creator/influencer teams to boost merchant visibility .
Market Tracking & Reporting: Monitor local competitors, track daily performance metrics (visits, sign-ups, conversion), and report progress to Team Leads.
Key Qualifications:
Open to fresh graduates with a strong interest in business development.
Must be physically and mentally willing to conduct regular outdoor field visits.
