Job description for Business Development Officer at PT Daur Material Indonesia

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Acquisition & Outreach – Identify, approach, and acquire new B2B partners and clients through targeted outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and site visits) and proposal development.
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term collaboration, repeat business, and retention.
  • Pipeline Management & Target Achievement – Manage end-to-end sales pipeline activities, including lead generation, follow-ups, meeting scheduling, and deal closing, while ensuring achievement of monthly targets and KPIs.
  • Client Engagement & Presentation – Conduct client meetings (online/offline), presentations, and site visits to communicate REMIND’s services and value proposition.
  • Internal Coordination – Coordinate with internal teams (operations & logistics) to ensure smooth execution of e-waste collection and partner onboarding.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Monitor and analyze sales performance, including e-waste collection volume and partner contributions, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification – Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and high-potential sectors (industrial, corporate, institutional).
  • Administrative & CRM Management – Handle administrative tasks including proposal preparation, quotations, agreements, and CRM/data tracking.
  • Campaign & Program Support – Support campaigns and activation programs related to e-waste collection (e.g., corporate sustainability initiatives)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnership roles (B2B experience is preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, pitching, and managing follow-up cycles.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess partner potential and prioritize opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Canva is a plus.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and professionally proficient in English (mandatory).
  • Strong interest in sustainability, recycling industry, or circular economy is highly preferred.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid arrangement (WFO/WFH depending on department needs); onsite location in Cikupa, Tangerang when required.
