Job description for Business Development - Marketing at PT Maesindo Indonesia
We are seeking a proactive, communicative, analytical professional oriented towards business growth to develop business opportunities and marketing for the company in the international market. The candidate will be responsible for identifying overseas market opportunities, developing networks of international distributors and business partners, building relationships with prospective customers, and supporting export activities and global market development.
Key responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and potential markets in various countries
- Develop networks of customers, distributors, agents, importers, and international business partners
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and global industry trend analysis
- Formulate market penetration strategies and overseas business development plans
- Establish communication and conduct business negotiations with prospective international customers
- Identify trade requirements, product regulations, and import provisions in destination countries
- Prepare market development reports, sales pipeline, and business target achievement
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding operations, finance, production, and logistics
- Analyze market potential, customer needs, pricing, and growth opportunities
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies for overseas markets
- Introduce company products and services to prospective international customers
- Prepare company profile, presentations, proposals, quotations, and marketing materials in English
- Manage business prospect follow-up and build long-term customer relationships
- Support company participation in trade exhibitions, business matching, and international business meetings
About you
- Minimum S1 degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Economics Accounting, International Relations, or related field
- Active English language proficiency, both spoken and written
- Business communication, presentation, negotiation, and proposal writing skills
- Ability to conduct international market research and analyze business data
- Strategic thinking, high initiative, and target-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Social Media
- Experience of 1–3 years in Business Development, International Marketing, Export Sales, or related field is a plus
- Willingness to undertake overseas business travel
- Willingness to be placed at all company locations in Indonesia and overseas
