Job description for Business Development Manager at Blooming International Technology

Our clients include manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, and service companies across various industries.

As Blooming continues to grow in Indonesia, we are looking for an ambitious professional to become one of our first local team members.

You will learn how different industries use trade data and market intelligence to make sourcing, pricing, market expansion, and strategic business decisions.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Lead Generation

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, exhibitions, referrals, professional networking, and digital prospecting.

- Build relationships with enterprise customers across Indonesia.

- Conduct outreach and initiate business conversations with decision makers.

Business Consultation & Product Demonstration

- Understand customer business challenges and identify suitable solutions.

- Deliver product demonstrations and present Blooming’s market intelligence platform.

- Help customers understand how trade data can support sourcing, market expansion, competitor analysis, and business growth.

Account Management & Customer Success

- Manage the complete customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal.

- Build long-term customer relationships.

- Follow up customer requirements and ensure successful platform adoption.

- Support quotation preparation, contract follow-up, payment collection, and renewal opportunities.

Market Intelligence

- Monitor Indonesian market trends and competitor activities.

- Conduct industry research and identify potential market opportunities.

- Share market insights with internal teams to support business growth.

Business Reporting

- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline.

- Prepare periodic reports on customer progress, opportunities, and account development.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Requirements

Mandatory

- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Market Research, or related fields.

- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong ownership and ability to manage work independently.

- Strong learning agility and willingness to quickly understand new products and industries.

- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining high accountability.
