Job description for Business Development Executive at RISE Indonesia
This role is not for early-stage prospectors. We are looking for someone who can convert from existing relationships rather than starting from scratch
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting (hunter)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, advertisers, agencies, and key decisionmakers.
- Develop & prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend analysis.
- Manage the full business development cycle, from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, deal closure, and client handover.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM management while consistently achieving sales targets, revenue goals, and new client acquisition KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful campaign execution.
- Stay up to date with digital advertising trends, platform updates, competitor activities, and market opportunities to proactively identify new business opportunities.
What You Bring to the Table
- Sales Experience 2 - 4 years in the Influencer industry (preferably agency side).
- Strong understanding of Influencer industry
- Strong network and established relationships with direct brands / top agencies.
- Proven track record in pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
- Experience in sales environments with multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and high pressure sales negotiations and timeline
- A data-driven approach to managing pipeline, conversion rates, and client engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven, target-oriented, and highly motivated to succeed.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required
- Strong technological literacy and a proactive attitude toward adopting new platforms
- Experience in the Affiliate influencer industry is advantageous but not essential.
This role has commissions incentive per closing deals.
