Job description for Business Development Executive at Arkademi
About the Role
We're looking for a hungry, self-driven Business Development Executive who thrives on winning new clients through organic channels — no paid traffic, no inbound leads handed to you on a plate.
You'll own the full sales cycle end-to-end: from cold prospecting and personalized outreach all the way to demo, negotiation, and close.
What You'll Do
- Drive new customer acquisition through organic channels (cold email, LinkedIn outreach, cold calls, HR/recruiter communities, offline events, personal networks, and referrals)
- Build and manage your own pipeline from first contact to paid customer (full-cycle: prospecting → demo → negotiation → close)
- Conduct product demos to HR Managers, Recruiters, and key decision-makers at target companies
- Negotiate and close deals, guiding prospects toward the plan that best fits their needs
- Maintain a daily CRM/tracker for full pipeline visibility (contact, company, deal stage, next action)
- Submit weekly reports covering revenue progress, pipeline health, and deals at risk
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (SaaS or HR Tech preferred)
- Proven B2B closing track record (preferred include numbers in your application, not just narratives)
- Skilled in personalized cold outreach (not mass blasting) with strong outreach copywriting
- Active on LinkedIn with hands-on experience prospecting via LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
- Professional communicator across email, WhatsApp, and video calls
- Highly disciplined: daily pipeline updates, weekly reporting, and self-managed without reminders
- Willing to work 3 months contract (PKWT)
- Willing to work on-site in Tebet, South Jakarta
- Can join immediately will be prioritized
Nice to Have
- Prior experience selling SaaS or B2B tools to HR, Recruiters, or Talent Acquisition teams
- Existing network within Indonesia's HR community
- Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, or the broader HR tech ecosystem
- Ability to demo a technical product using ICP-friendly storytelling
