Job description for Business Development Executive at Tata Cargo
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support daily business operations while helping drive growth across multiple functions. This role involves overseeing ongoing tasks, ensuring smooth execution, and coordinating across teams in a fast-paced logistics and trading environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Support and monitor daily business operations across departments
- Ensure tasks are executed properly and on time
- Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, admin) and external partners
- Track shipment progress and assist in logistics coordination (import/export)
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and client-related materials
- Follow up leads and maintain client database
- Create reports, organize data, and maintain proper documentation
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and contribute to improving workflows
Responsibilities :
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (spoken & written) is a must
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to improve productivity
- Strong communication skills

Experience or interest in logistics, import-export, or trading business
Familiar with tools like Notion / Google Workspace
