Job description for Business Development Executive at BurnMotion
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Acquisition to help expand our AI data collection ecosystem.
Your primary responsibility is to build partnerships with small businesses across various industries—including F&B, retail, construction, services, and many more—to support our AI data collection initiatives.
You will identify business owners who are willing to collaborate by allowing real-life activities to be recorded using our AI/VR devices. Your mission is simple: find the right partners, onboard them, and ensure the collaboration runs smoothly.
This role reports directly to the CEO, so you should be comfortable communicating in English and working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new business partners from various industries.
- Build relationships with small business owners and decision makers.
- Present and explain our AI data collection program in a simple and convincing way.
- Negotiate partnership terms and onboard new partners.
- Coordinate recording schedules and ensure data collection activities run smoothly.
- Monitor and maintain good relationships with existing partners.
- Act as the main liaison between partners and the internal AI team.
- Report acquisition progress directly to the CEO.
- Ensure assigned acquisition targets are achieved consistently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from any major.
- Fresh graduates with strong sales personalities are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnership, Field Acquisition, or similar roles is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Naturally extroverted and confident, meeting new people every day.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
- Hunter mentality with high resilience and persistence.
- Comfortable working in the field and visiting multiple locations daily.
- Able to build trust quickly with business owners.
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- English proficiency (minimum passive); comfortable communicating with the CEO in English.
- Fast learner and adaptable in a startup environment.
- Willing to travel around Jakarta and the surrounding areas.
