Job Description:
Credit risk Management and Accounts Receivable
Credit risk Management
• Assist CFO in creating credit policies in accordance with Group credit policies not limited to:
o Interacting with clients to obtain additional credit information to support credit lines
o Review credit limit and terms to client accounts and ensure that they are within company policy as defined under Right Client Right Terms (RCRT) framework, Delegation Matrix and other relevant information
o Enquire all clients credit lines request are supported with the required supporting documents
o Generates legal documents such as accountable forms used in the credit function
o Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations, present findings to senior management and suggest actions/penalties to be taken when appropriate
o Develop processes and procedures for evaluating customer financials and setting and changing credit lines/limits, as well as credit holds
Accounts Receivable
Review and analyse weekly / monthly AR reports
• Analyse delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution
• Maintain and manage bad debt and bad debt recovery records
• Responsible to ensure uninterrupted process flow related to order confirmation, invoice printing, assembling & consolidating billing support documents done by AR Assistant
Internal Control Management
• Follow-up on internal control guidelines from group, prepare internal control documents for reporting
• Review internal control policy, make recommendation and take follow-up actions
Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare Monthly Business Review deck
• Perform analysis on variances
Budget and Forecast
• Assist CFO in Budget and Forecast preparation
• Reporting Budget and Forecast on Adaptive
Ad-hoc tasks
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree,
Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. CPA is a plus.
• Fluency in English
• Required skill(s): credit and collection management, accounts receivable, Collection
And Recovery
• At least two (2) years of working experience under a similar role
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience
• Detail oriented with ability to isolate root cause of issue and generate key guidelines
and policies that address problem
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs is an advantage.
• Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations.
• Exhibit accuracy and ability to analyze receivable history
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skill
• Must have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
