Location: Tokyo, Japan (Candidates currently based in Japan are preferred; Vietnamese candidates willing to relocate to Japan are welcome.)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Bridge System Engineer & Client Communication:
- Work directly at the client's office in Tokyo to clarify technical and business requirements in Japanese.
- Communicate with the client, provide progress updates, identify and manage risks, and act as the primary bridge between the client and the Offshore Team in Vietnam.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the client and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- AWS Infrastructure & IaC:
- Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and scalable cloud environments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
- Japanese Language:
- JLPT N2 or above with business-level Japanese proficiency.
- Ability to communicate fluently and handle technical/business discussions directly with Japanese clients.
- Technical Expertise:
- From 2 years (Middle) to 5+ years (Senior) of hands-on experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and Cloud Security principles.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.
Nice to have:
- AWS certification(s) at the Associate or Professional level.
- Experience working with Japanese clients or in a Japanese business environment.
