Job description for Branch Manager Sales and Operation ( Forwarding ) at PT. Yossava Trans Logistik
JOB DESCRIPTION.
• Responsible for all sales and business development duties including calling on accounts to increase revenue and profit.
• Manage and grow local sales, deep selling current local customer base.
• Create new business through contact with prospective customers in the assigned market and sell new services to new and existing customers. Identify market trends and competitive rate actions and communicate those trends to the Product Group.
• Identify competitive service strengths and weaknesses of the company and make recommendations to constantly improve services.
• Review and report monthly performance. Understand pricing and cost components.
• Prepare sales presentations, write sales proposals, implementation, create and add to existing marketing materials.
• Manage the customer support/service function to external customers.
• Responsible for all functions and operations at the branch.
• Direct annual budget preparation for Branch/District location, setting, evaluating, meeting and/or exceeding performance targets.
• Direct and ensure compliance with established corporate policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with government regulations
Qualification :
1. Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or related fields
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa with the ability to conduct negotiations and deliver effective presentations
3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics industry
4. Strong exposure in air & ocean freight
5. Proven track record in sales / business development
6. Experience in managing a team and handling branch
7. Strong network within the logistics industry is highly preferred
8. Experience in a multinational logistics environment is a plus
