Job description for Branch Director at IT STEP Academy

IT STEP Academy is an international IT education network founded in 1999. Today, we operate in more than 20 countries and have over 267,000 graduates worldwide. Our Jakarta campus has been operating since 2024 at Menara Sudirman, 8th Floor, one of the city's most recognized business locations.
The branch is established. The team is in place. The product works. What we need now is the right leader to take it to the next level.
What this role actually looks like:
You'll be running an entire branch, not just managing daily operations but driving business growth and setting the overall direction.
Your day might include:
- Reviewing Meta Ads performance and analyzing lead quality.
- Meeting with corporate partners, schools, universities, or potential clients to build new business opportunities.
- Coaching and supporting the sales, marketing, and education teams.
- Monitoring branch performance and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
- Solving challenges quickly to keep the team moving toward its goals.
This role requires someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions, and leading from the front.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Driving revenue growth through student enrollments for regular programs and short courses.
- Leading and managing the Sales, Marketing, Education, and Administration teams.
- Building B2B partnerships, including corporate training, hiring partnerships, and institutional collaborations.
- Planning and executing local marketing activities through digital campaigns, events, and community outreach.
- Managing branch operations, including budgeting, P&L, reporting, and overall business performance.
- Maintaining a high-quality learning experience by overseeing mentors, curriculum delivery, and student satisfaction.
- Managing the Junior Computer Academy and seasonal children's programs.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record of leading teams, driving business growth, and achieving commercial targets. Experience in education, retail, hospitality, or service industries is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset with a focus on achieving business targets.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, social media, and basic business analytics.
- English proficiency at C2 level (required) for communication with our international headquarters.
- Russian language proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in Jakarta's business environment and building professional relationships.
