Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Bellboy to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive first impression by providing excellent guest assistance from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from their rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features, hotel facilities, and available services.
- Support the Front Office team during check-in and check-out processes.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transportation, and nearby destinations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure excellent guest service.
- Store and retrieve guests' luggage safely when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage area.
- Arrange transportation or assist guests with taxi bookings when needed.
- Handle guests' belongings with care and ensure their security at all times.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) graduate; Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bellboy, Porter, or in a similar hospitality role.
- Fresh graduates with a Hospitality or Tourism background are welcome to apply.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance, and positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry guests' luggage safely.
- Honest, responsible, disciplined, and reliable.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Possession of a valid driving license (SIM A or SIM C) is an advantage.
