Job description for Barista at PT. Kopi Kina Indonesia
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to all customers.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, bar, and equipment.
- Accurately handle orders using the POS system.
- Restock and rotate inventory, ensuring freshness and availability of ingredients.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently.
- Educate guests on the menu and make recommendations when asked.
Qualifications
- High school or vocational school graduate, preferably from hospitality, culinary, or barista-related fields.
- Minimum 6 months – 1 year experience as a barista.
- Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation.
- Able to operate coffee machines and bar equipment.
- Friendly, customer-oriented, and communicative.
- Able to work fast, clean, and in a team.
- Familiar with POS systems.
- Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
