About the role
Eighty One Coffee' is seeking experienced and passionate Baristas and Head Baristas to join our outlets all over Jabodetabek. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and leading a team of talented baristas.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks to our customers
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the coffee preparation area
- Provide excellent customer service
- For Head Barista: Train and mentor junior baristas to uphold our high quality standards
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with management to ensure we are always well-stocked
- Assist with café opening and closing procedures as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional Barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe.
- For Head Barista applicants: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Head Barista or leadership role is required.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing techniques, and advanced barista skills.
- Skilled in Latte Art with a creative flair and enthusiasm for developing innovative coffee-based beverages.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Confident and customer-oriented with a presentable, well-groomed.
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to lead and inspire a team of baristas to deliver consistent, high-quality coffee.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) for administrative and operational tasks.
- Flexible with work placement and scheduling.
