- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point of sale (POS) system.
- Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Ensuring accurate cash handling, balancing the register at the end of the shift, and managing cash flow.
- Ensuring the cashier station is tidy and well-stocked.
- Accurately inputting customer orders into the POS system.
