Job description for Baker at GiGi’s Ubud
Café & Kitchen All-Rounder, Matcha Barista / Baker
GiGi’s Ubud is looking for an experienced baker, hospitality trained person to join our small team in a unique full-time role working across both our café and kitchen.
This is a varied position for someone who enjoys both guest service and working with food. You will work as part of our Matcha Barista / Café team while also being trained in the production of our specialised pastry products.
It’s an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills and work across both front and back of house.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years professional hospitality experience
- Formal hospitality or culinary training
- Experience working in both café / restaurant and kitchen environments
- Good English communication skills
- Strong interest in cooking, pastry and baking
- Able to work independently and stay organised
- Mature, reliable and positive
- Currently living in or near Ubud
- Available to start in the near future
