RESPONSIBILITIES
- Do the design process for bags and accessories collections, ensuring innovative and on-trend concepts.
- Stay ahead of market trends and incorporate them into designs.
- Oversee the creation of prototypes, working with pattern makers and manufacturers.
- Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to align design with brand strategy.
- Ensure high-quality standards in materials, finishes, and construction of designs.
- Manage design budgets and timelines for collection development.
- Lead and mentor junior designers and assist in creative team development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year in fashion design, specifically in womenswear and accessories (bags).
- Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design skills.
- Strong design sense with the ability to conceptualize and execute new, trend-driven collections.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across various departments.
- A degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful collections in both womenswear and bags.
