Job description for Backend Engineer at Azura Labs
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and reliable APIs.
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Contribute to database design and maintenance.
Qualifications :
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following:
- Golang (Gin, Echo, Goroutines, Channels)
- Node.js (Express.js, NestJS, asynchronous programming)
- Laravel (PHP) (MVC, Eloquent ORM, Laravel ecosystem)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, Clean Code).
Nice to Have :
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture.
