Job description for Backend Engineer at Delman.io

Responsibility

Participate in the full development lifecycle activities of the product (design, coding, testing & deployment activities).
Build, launch and maintain efficient & reliable large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines, including integration of online & offline data marts to streamline data warehouse architecture
Exchange, Transform and Load (ETL) various sources of data into a centralized cloud data lake for various business
Help our Data Scientists to improve their research workflow and access to automation
Collaborate with different functional teams to ensure that new products & features are ingested accordingly

Requirements

Minimal 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer
Proficient with Flask or Python frameworks and SQL
Experience in implementing and optimizing data pipeline (Data Engineers) is a plus
Familiar with ETL and creating data pipeline
Familiar with Google Cloud ecosystem
Good initiative and problem-solving skills
Familiar with Agile and sprint planning
