Job description for Backend Engineer at Chick-in
- Work with team members to understand business requirements and create data layers to support the front end.
- Write reusable, testable and efficient code.
- Build scaling back-end services
- Designing, enhancing and building out new features and services
- Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning and optimization
- Knowledge in Agile methodology of running projects
- Prior experience working as a NodeJS backend developer
- Great understanding of JavaScript ES5, ES6 & NodeJS
- Experience with databases like MongoDB and redis
- Proficient with Git
- Good understanding of Microservices architectures
- Experience with building Rest API services
