Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services based on business and technical requirements.
- Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and other internal systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following software development best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers, QA, DevOps, and other teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to developed applications and APIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Java and backend application development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Quarkus.
- Good understanding of REST API, microservices architecture, and backend development concepts.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Understanding of unit testing, API testing, and debugging.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD is a plus.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems is a plus.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
