Job description for Back-end Developer at PT Skyworx Indonesia
Skyworx Indonesia is seeking a passionate and experienced Back End Developer who is ready to craft scalable systems, optimize performance, and bring innovative ideas to life through clean, efficient, and reliable code (Placement in Padang).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
- Collaborate with frontend developers and analysts to ensure integration and performance optimization
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or similar role.
- Core Technology: Advanced knowledge of Java Spring Boot and proven experience in building scalable and high-performance Microservices.
- Architecture & Design: Have strong experience/knowledge in System Analysis and System Architecture, able to design robust technical solutions.
- Database & Optimization: Expert in PostgreSQL / SQL Server (including transaction management and query optimization). Familiarity with caching (e.g., Redis) or Message Brokers (e.g., Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a big plus.
Project-Specific Skills:
- Experience with Workflow Engines (e.g., Camunda, Activity) or complex state machines.
- Experience in backend file/document processing (e.g., PDF generation, auto-layouting).
Domain Knowledge: Solid experience in developing banking applications (Core Banking Systems, LOS) is highly desirable.
- Tools: Proficient in Git, and familiar with deployment tools (Docker/CI-CD).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, fast learner, and a good team player.
- Location: Willing to be placed in Padang.
