Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Automate operational tasks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud resource provisioning.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and more.
- Implement robust security controls, network configurations, and compliance standards (e.g., IAM policies, encryption, NACLs, security groups).
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support application deployment and reliability.
- Conduct cost analyses and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to best practices for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certification (minimum: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS SysOps Administrator)
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts: VPC, subnets, routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers.
- Proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
- Proficient with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
