Job description for Automation QA Engineer/SDET at Pt. Komuniti Bangsa Indonesia
Job Responsibilities
- Review requirement & design specifications to ensure understanding of the project
- Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with backend and/or DevSecOps engineer to create and Cultivate CI/CD with automation testing
- Debugging and defining corrective actions as well as track quality assurance metrics (e.g defect densities, open defect counts,etc)
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Prepare and share bug reports with all required details
- Perform software system test Automation ro ensure application is working after any change (e.g regression testing and smoke testing)
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills are required (oral and written)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools processes, and development cycles
- Experience in using Katalon to test mobile applications and also websites
- Extensive knowledge in using Git to create a CI/CD pipeline with automation testing
- Experience in creating guidelines for test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Experience with Jira or other bug tracking systems
- Experience with API Testing and tools like Postman or Swagger or Soap UI
