Job description for Automation & Commissioning Engineer at PT Skala Sukses Mandiri
PT Skala Sukses Mandiri is seeking a professional to join our team as an Automation & Commissioning Engineer, based in East Jakarta.
The Automation & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing machine control programs and interfaces, configuring and validating instruments and valves, conducting commissioning tests, and providing machine training to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Create program and interface for machines.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Commissioning/Test Reports (CTR), and Operation Manuals (OM).
• Perform setup, configuration, testing, and validation of sensors, inverters, control valves, and other instrumentation.
• Conduct commissioning tests and machine training for customers.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers and Field Teams to understand process requirements and functional descriptions for implementation in control programs.
Requirements
• Min. D3 in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Min. 1-3 years of experience as an Automation & Commissioning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industries is preferred.
• Good understanding of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and equipment control.
• Knowledge of process design and industrial automation is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for commissioning and machine training, when required.
