Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and ethical professional to take on the role of Audit & Legal Team Leader at KMK Group. This role requires dual expertise in internal audit and legal affairs, ensuring the company's compliance with Indonesian laws and corporate governance standards.
In addition to leading audit and legal functions, the selected candidate will also perform duties typically assigned to the Head of CGA (Corporate Governance & Assurance). This includes overseeing compliance, regulatory governance, risk management, and corporate affairs.
The ideal candidate must be a licensed Indonesian lawyer with at least five years of legal experience. While prior audit experience is not mandatory, the candidate must obtain a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification upon joining KMK Group.
This position demands strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism. The individual will play a critical role in establishing ISO 37301 compliance frameworks, ensuring internal controls, and driving regulatory improvements across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Responsibilities:
• Lead the internal audit function across KMK Group, conducting regular, ad-hoc, and special audits.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues, proposing corrective measures.
• Ensure transparency and ethical business conduct by strengthening internal controls.
• Communicate audit findings to senior management and recommend risk-based improvements.
• Obtain Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification if not already held.
Legal Responsibilities:
• Oversee the company’s legal compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
• Hold an Indonesian lawyer license and provide legal advisory services on corporate matters.
• Lead the implementation of ISO 37301, ensuring regulatory compliance across the group.
• Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory investigations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and company policies.
• Establish and enforce legal and compliance frameworks to mitigate corporate risks.
Head of CGA Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve compliance, assurance, and risk management processes.
• Develop and enforce company-wide regulations and policies.
• Provide strategic corporate governance guidance to senior management.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, and operations to align governance practices.
• Coordinate compliance training and awareness programs across all departments.
