Job Responsibilities
Under the guidance of senior staff and project management:
- Prepares tax provisions by applying technical skills to ensure accurate calculations in line with procedures.
- Communicates with clients to gather required data or documents and to remind them of payment and tax return submission deadlines.
- Conducts research and prepares working papers for tax calculations and drafts tax return reports for clients.
- Prepare tax reconciliations, data summaries, working papers, and draft letters related to tax audits, objections, appeals, or JR.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary data and documents, providing reminders on submission deadlines for audit, objection, appeal, or JR letters.
- Review and verify data provided by clients for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and prepare documents thoroughly before submission to the tax office, tax court, or supreme court.
- Deliver documents in person to the tax office or tax court as needed.
- Participate in meetings with clients or tax officials, as required.
- Attend tax hearings or reconciliation sessions, when necessary, and prepare detailed minutes of the meeting.
- Conducts in-depth research on tax regulations and regimes in Indonesia.
- Shows a strong commitment to personal growth and continuous professional development.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Taxation or Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, holding a Brevet A/B/C Certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a tax consulting firm is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
