Job description for Associate Lawyer at DHH LAW FIRM
Qualifications
1. Minimum 5 (five) years of professional experience at a law firm and/or corporate legal practice;
2. Has been officially appointed and sworn in as an Advocate in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia;
3. Holds a Bachelor of Law (S.H.) degree from a reputable university; Master of Law (M.H./LL.M.) degree will be an advantage;
4. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong legal drafting and legal communication skills;
5. Excellent understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in, Corporate and Commercial Law, Employment Law, Investment Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Capital Market Law, Banking and Financial Services Law, and General Corporate Compliance and Regulatory Matters;
6. Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements and legal documents;
7. Experienced in handling litigation proceedings, court filings, legal correspondence, hearings, and dispute settlement processes;
8. Familiar with legal and regulatory matters related to financial institutions, banking transactions, financing arrangements, and capital market compliance;
9. Capable of conducting comprehensive legal research and preparing legal opinions, legal memoranda, and case analyses;
10. Strong analytical thinking, legal reasoning, and problem-solving abilities;
11. Able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines;
12. Possesses strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client management skills;
13. High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail;
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management;
15. Experience in dealing with foreign clients and cross-border transactions will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal advice, strategic legal solutions, and risk assessments to clients;
2. Draft, review, revise, and negotiate various agreements, contracts, legal notices, corporate documents, and other legal instruments;
3. Handle litigation and non-litigation matters, including civil, commercial, employment, banking, financial services, and corporate disputes;
4. Assist clients in banking transactions, financing arrangements, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance matters;
5. Assist clients in capital market matters, including regulatory compliance, disclosure obligations, corporate actions, and legal documentation;
6. Represent and assist clients in court proceedings, mediations, negotiations, government institutions, regulatory authorities, and dispute settlement forums;
7. Conduct legal due diligence, legal research, and regulatory compliance analysis;
8. Prepare legal opinions, legal memoranda, chronologies, case summaries, and other legal documents;
9. Attend meetings, hearings, negotiations, and consultations with clients and relevant stakeholders;
10. Assist clients in corporate establishment, licensing, investment, employment, and operational compliance matters;
11. Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, government authorities, opposing counsel, financial institutions, and other relevant parties;
12. Maintain proper legal documentation, filing systems, and case administration;
13. Monitor legal developments and regulatory updates relevant to clients’ business activities;
14. Ensure all legal services are delivered professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly Salary: IDR 20,000,000 – IDR 25,000,000 (based on qualifications and experience);
