Job description for Assistant Pharmacist (Asisten Apoteker) at PT Iora Dermajaya Utama
We are looking for a qualified Assistant Pharmacist to assist our patients by dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions. To be successful in this role you must be customer-focused and remain up to date with the latest advances in pharmaceutical science.
Responsibilities:
- Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by doctors
- Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
- Monitoring patients’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing patients of any potential side effects
- Instructing patients on how and when to take prescribed medications
- Keeping accurate patients records
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment
- Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory
- Responsible for drugs purchasing
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice
- Prepare monthly inventory report
- Responsible for Clinic inventory
- Performing other administrative tasks when needed
Requirements:
- Maximum 35 years old
- Minimum 1 year work experience
- Minimum D3 or S1 Pharmacy/Pharmacology
- Must have active STR
- Proven experience as a assistant pharmacist
- Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and software
- Good organizing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Integrity and compassion
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
