Job Description – Mandarin Speaking Assistant
- Act as a communication bridge between Indonesian and Chinese/Mandarin-speaking teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Assist with translating chats, documents, meetings, briefings, training, and work instructions between Mandarin and Indonesian.
- Support the Manager/Supervisor with daily coordination, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with communication and coordination across departments such as Production, Warehouse, Sales, Purchasing, QC, and Sample.
- Help explain and translate basic terms related to textile processes and daily operations.
- Assist in communicating with Mandarin-speaking customers or suppliers when needed.
- Support communication of company information, policies, and instructions to Mandarin-speaking employees.
- Willing to support cross-department tasks and has the opportunity to develop into Sales, Business Development, or Recruitment roles based on performance and capabilities.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1/D4), preferably in Mandarin, Languages, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Good Mandarin communication skills for daily conversations and work-related communication.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
- English proficiency is a plus.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Experience as a Mandarin Translator, Assistant, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Recruitment, or other Mandarin-related positions is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively with both Indonesian and Chinese teams.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and able to work with targets and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Willing to work in a textile industry environment and learn textile-related terms and processes.
- Willing to support cross-department tasks as required.
- Sales/Marketing experience or skills are a plus, with potential career development into Sales or Business Development roles.
