Job description for Assistant Development Manager at Trend Studio Bali
Key Responsibilities:
- Log every new tech pack in the Development Room Calendar & SR Log the same day, assign the SR, and keep the status of every style up to date
- Run the daily development tracking : morning status update, the Daily Board at the morning huddle, and the All Sample Priority List synced with the client
- Track sample due dates and alert the Development Manager early when a sample is at risk
- Coordinate the flow of work between Pattern, Cutting and Sample Sewers, record every hand-off, and make sure nothing waits more than half a day
- Schedule Initial Design Meetings, prepare the tech pack and previous fit notes, take meeting notes and follow up on open points
- Translate client fit notes between English and Bahasa Indonesia, then print and distribute them to Pattern and Sewing the same day
- Prepare packing lists, sample photos and shipping records, and fill in sample hang tags completely
- Label and organize fit samples, sample racks, Customer Style Books, Production Books and Drive folders so every document is current and easy to find.
- Prepare BOM draft for Product Developer and the time sheet
- Record Sample Sewer output for the monthly KPI report and prepare a weekly development summary for the Development Manager
- Assemble the Development to Production handover package for the Development Manager's sign-off
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Fast, accurate admin and typing, confident with Google Sheets, Google Drive and email
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken
- Very organized and detail oriented, follows checklists and never lets a task slip
- Confident following up with colleagues and clients until a task is done
- Basic garment knowledge (components, measurements, fit samples) is a plus, pattern or technical design skills are not required
- Experience in garment factory or development room administration preferred
- Team player who can also work independently
