🔧 About the Role
We are looking for ARMO Technicians to support the assembly, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment used in oilfield operations.
The role will be based in Duri and may require work at base, onshore locations, and workshop. Candidates must be willing to support field assignments when required and perform maintenance work at the base when not assigned to a location.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and maintain electro-mechanical equipment based on technical drawings and work instructions.
- Perform basic soldering, wiring, installation, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
- Inspect components and equipment for defects.
- Use multimeters and other testing/diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repair, overhaul, and refurbishment.
- Read and understand wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical procedures.
- Complete maintenance and equipment documentation.
- Report technical issues to supervisors or engineers.
- Follow all HSE, safety, quality, and operational requirements.
🎓 Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) from a recognized university/polytechnic.
- Preferably D3 Electrical Engineering or Electronics-related background.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic systems, computer systems, and electronic components.
- Must understand truck lighting/electrical systems, including:
- Genset
- Genset troubleshooting
- Genset installation
- Trucking lamp installation/troubleshooting
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, especially wiring diagrams.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Construction is preferred.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal (MUST, the interviewer and users are international team)
- Able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Willing to work onshore, at base, and in the workshop.
- Willing to be on call when required.
- Local candidates in/around Duri are highly preferred.
