Primary Job Role :
The Area Service Staff is responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, and support to customers within a designated geographic area. The role involves addressing technical issues, performing repairs or installations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and professional service.
Job Description:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of products or equipment at customer locations.
- Respond to service calls and resolve issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all service activities are carried out in compliance with company standards and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts used, and work completed.
- Coordinate with the central service team or service manager for spare parts and technical support.
- Educate customers on basic product usage, care, and maintenance.
- Report recurring issues or technical faults to supervisors for further analysis.
- Ensure proper handling and upkeep of tools, equipment, and company assets.
- Travel within the assigned area as required to meet service demands.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Automotive, or relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in field service or technical support (freshers with technical skills may be considered).
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and repair practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
