Job description for Architect or Urban Planning Fresh Graduate at JPA Recruitment
Tunas Industrial Estate is seeking motivated and passionate Fresh Graduates in Architecture or Urban Planning to support the planning, design, and development of industrial estate projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in master planning, site development, infrastructure planning, and building design while working closely with senior architects, planners, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural drawings, site layouts, and master planning documents.
- Support the planning and design of industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare conceptual designs, presentations, and design reports.
- Assist in reviewing architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, and Project teams during project planning and execution.
- Conduct site visits and assist in monitoring project progress.
- Assist in preparing permit applications and project documentation.
- Perform site analysis, zoning studies, and land use assessments.
- Participate in urban planning, landscape planning, and infrastructure planning activities.
- Research planning regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Prepare presentation materials using CAD and visualization software.
- Support project coordination and communication with consultants and contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Urban & Regional Planning.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Maximum **2 years** of working experience.
- Familiar with architectural design principles and urban planning concepts.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, or similar design software is preferred.
- Basic understanding of GIS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is an advantage.
- Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to learn and develop professionally.
- Willing to be based in Batam.
- Mandarin communication skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience in architecture consultants, property developers, industrial estates, or urban planning firms.
- Portfolio of academic or personal design projects.
- Knowledge of Indonesian building regulations and urban planning policies.
- Familiarity with sustainable design or green building concepts is an advantage.
