Job description for Architech Freelance at PT. Tenaga Kanggo Indonesia
Kanggo is looking for a Freelance Architect to support our residential construction, renovation, and building projects. You will be responsible for providing architectural design and technical support based on project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural concepts and designs based on client requirements and project needs.
- Prepare architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Translate project requirements into functional, aesthetic, and practical architectural designs.
- Conduct site surveys and assess existing building conditions when required.
- Prepare and revise design drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other relevant parties throughout the project.
- Provide technical input and architectural recommendations during the project.
- Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building standards, regulations, and technical requirements.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, material specifications, and other architectural documents when required.
- Review project progress and provide architectural support to ensure the design is implemented appropriately.
- Manage multiple projects or assignments according to agreed timelines.
- Deliver work according to the agreed project scope, quality standards, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (S1 Arsitektur) or a related field.
- Must have valid architect certification/registration, such as SKA/SKK or STRA, according to applicable requirements.
- Proven experience as an Architect, preferably in residential, renovation, or building construction projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and building materials.
- Proficient in architectural software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp; proficiency in Revit or other BIM software is a plus.
- Able to produce and interpret architectural and technical drawings accurately.
- Good understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design or technical issues.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Flexible and comfortable working on a freelance/project-based basis.
- Willing to conduct site visits when required.
- Must be able to provide a portfolio of relevant architectural projects.
