Job description for Application Chef at PT. Multi Kawan Niaga Indonesia
1. Demo Chef (Cooking Demonstrations)
· Perform live cooking demos for FlexiCombi and FlexiChef equipment.
· Target audience: Corporate purchasing teams, procurement managers, executive chefs, and restaurant owners.
· Showcase how MKN equipment improves kitchen efficiency, consistency, and food quality.
•Able to eat all food types (HALAL / NON-HALAL)
2.Sales (Retail Focus)
· Sell directly to: Hotels, restaurant & cafe
· Build relationships with chefs and owners to replace their current combi ovens with MKN.
3.Administrative & Reporting
· Manage lead visit schedules.
· Track cooking demo expenses and submit reports.
· Schedule visits to existing customers for follow-up and support.
· Maintain a culinary/F&B calendar of events in Indonesia.
What We’re Looking For
· Culinary background (professional chef, culinary school graduate) with experience using combi steamers.
· Willingness to sell – you don’t need a sales degree, but you must be comfortable discussing pricing and closing retail deals.
· Organized – able to handle admin work (reports, expense tracking, scheduling).
· Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English (for German brand communication).
· Based in Jakarta and willingness to travel.
