As an AI Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the internal engineering team and our dedicated R&D team to explore and implement GenAI/LLM-based solutions that improve business processes, boost operational efficiency, and enhance user experience—both for internal stakeholders and external users.
You will play a key role in accelerating the adoption of AI across internal departments and gradually contributing to AI-enhanced features within the SimpliDOTS product used by our customers."
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the internal team, R&D, and engineering teams to define problems and develop GenAI/LLM-based solutions for internal operations or external product features.
- Identify automation opportunities by analyzing existing workflows across departments and exploring how AI can enhance or streamline them.
- Actively explore recent advancements in LLMs, GenAI, and AI agents, and experiment with applying these technologies in real business use cases.
- Assist in designing, prototyping, and integrating AI-powered tools (e.g., copilots, chatbots, summarizers) that improve productivity or customer experience.
- Document your learnings, experiments, and solutions clearly to support future scalability and knowledge sharing.
- Support AI adoption by conducting internal sharing sessions or creating guides for non-technical teams to understand and use AI-enhanced tools.
Requirements :
- Experience in building personal or academic projects related to AI/LLM, preferably with portfolio links (GitHub, blog posts, research papers, etc.).
- Familiarity with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, especially in backend/frontend integration (e.g., using Node.js, Express, or modern frameworks).
- Comfortable working with LLM APIs (like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and building prompt pipelines or tools around them.
- Up to date with recent developments in Generative AI, LLM strategies (e.g., RAG, agent frameworks, function calling), and excited to learn more.
- Passionate about exploring and tinkering with technologies like AI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and tool-based AI orchestration.
- Ability to learn independently, read technical documentation, and apply knowledge in both English and Indonesian.
- It would be beneficial if you also have:
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with vector databases and their ecosystems, such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
