Job description for Affiliate Specialist (Freelance) at Mitra Generasi Digital
As a Freelance Affiliate Specialist, you will support the execution of affiliate marketing campaigns on a project or retainer basis. This role focuses on identifying and activating relevant affiliates, ensuring smooth campaign execution, and driving affiliate performance in line with campaign targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and shortlist relevant affiliates, creators, and KOLs based on campaign objectives and target audience
- Conduct outreach, negotiation, and coordination with affiliates and creators
- Develop and execute affiliate strategies based on campaign and client goals
- Coordinate affiliate campaigns, including product seeding, promotional activities, affiliate links/codes, and campaign timelines
- Ensure affiliates understand campaign briefs, commission structures, deliverables, and requirements
- Monitor affiliate activity and performance, including sales, clicks, conversions, GMV, and other relevant metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve affiliate activation and campaign performance
- Maintain regular communication with affiliates and the internal team for updates, follow-ups, and issue handling
- Prepare basic campaign performance reports and provide insights or recommendations when needed
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in Affiliate Marketing, KOL/Influencer Marketing, or Creator Marketing; freelance or project-based experience is welcome
- Experience managing or working with affiliates, creators, or KOLs is highly preferred
- Strong network of affiliates, creators, or KOLs is a plus
- Familiarity with Shopee Affiliate and/or TikTok Affiliate is highly preferred
- Strong execution skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Able to develop effective affiliate strategies based on campaign and client objectives
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and responsive
- Able to analyze basic campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiar with social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram
- Understand Shopee Affiliate and TikTok Affiliate systems, workflows, and basic campaign mechanics
- Basic understanding of affiliate performance metrics such as clicks, conversion rate, orders, and GMV
- Comfortable using communication and project management tools such as Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and Google Workspace
