Job description for Acupuncturist at Wave Skin Wellness
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand medical history, current health status, and specific needs related to wound healing, skin health, and mobility.
• Develop and implement personalized acupuncture treatment plans aimed at improving wound healing, treating skin conditions, and enhancing mobility for bedridden patients.
• Administer acupuncture treatments to stimulate blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue regeneration.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide integrated and holistic care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the benefits of acupuncture, self-care techniques, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in acupuncture and related fields to continually improve treatment methods.
Qualifications:
•Doktor Specialist with master degree in Accupunturist (SP.Ak)
•Certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of traditional Chinese medicine principles and their application to chronic conditions and limited mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of complementary therapies and holistic health practices.
