ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Job Description:
Supervise and manage the accounting team, including staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and professional development
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payment and collection
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or anomalies
Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Prepare and submit statutory financial reports and tax documentation as required
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk
Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, analyzing variances against actual performance
Liaise with external auditors and government agencies on accounting and compliance matters
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement more efficient accounting procedures
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Solid understanding of internal controls and financial audit procedures
Professional communication skills in Indonesian and English (both written and verbal); Mandarin will be a plus.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members
Experience in the manufacturing or textile industry would be advantageous
