About the Role
We are looking for an Accounting Leader / Supervisor to lead accounting operations and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting information systems and ERP.
You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while working with Technology and Operations teams to improve accounting processes, data quality, and system controls.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Supervise daily accounting activities in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards.
- Review journal entries, general ledger balances, AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, revenue, costs, and inventory transactions.
- Lead monthly closing, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure adequate supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
Accounting System & Process Improvement
- Review transaction flows and system-generated entries to ensure alignment with accounting policies.
- Reconcile data between operational systems, accounting systems, and financial reports.
- Identify process gaps and work with Technology and Operations teams on improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and accounting procedures.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK), financial statements, and Indonesian taxation.
- Hands-on experience in closing, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
- Proficiency in accounting or ERP software such as Accurate, Odoo, Xero, or similar systems.
- Understanding of accounting information systems and the flow of operational transactions into financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate accounting requirements to Product, IT, or Engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Proactive and adaptable to a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is preferred.
- Experience in ERP implementation, system integration, UAT, or reporting automation.
- Experience in construction materials, distribution, or B2B commerce.
