Job description for Accounting Officer at PT Amira Grup Indonesia
We are looking for a detail-oriented, trustworthy Senior Accounting Officer to help safeguard the financial health of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Record all company financial transactions accurately and completely
- Prepare journals, general ledgers, and other financial reports
- Prepare interim and year-end financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Calculate and remit company taxes on time
- Prepare tax reports and supporting documents
- Liaise and communicate with tax authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum [3-5] years of experience in accounting, preferably in F&B, retail, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards (SAK/PSAK) and Indonesian taxation
- Proven experience preparing financial statements and handling tax reporting (monthly and annual SPT)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experienced with accounting software (e.g., [Accurate / Jurnal / SAP / other])
- Meticulous, honest, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Tax Brevet certification is an advantage
