Job description for Accounting Manager at Haiyetong
PT Hytech Energy Logistik is an expanding logistics and supply chain enterprise specializing in the transport and management of energy products, LNG, and specialized chemical cargo across the Indonesian archipelago. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations, corporate compliance, and financial strategy as we scale our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight & Reporting: Manage full-cycle accounting functions, general ledger, month-end/year-end closing, and prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
- Tax Compliance & Planning: Oversee corporate tax reporting and compliance, including PPH (Income Tax), PPN (VAT), and annual tax returns (SPT). Ensure alignment with Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) regulations.
- Corporate Governance & PMA Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Indonesian corporate financial regulations, including foreign investment reporting (LKPM) to BKPM and financial compliance for logistics/freight forwarding (SIUJPT) operations.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Supervise daily cash flows, working capital, banking relationships, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and vendor settlement processes.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control metrics tailored to fleet operations, equipment maintenance, and logistics overhead.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate external tax and financial audits; design and enforce robust internal control mechanisms across business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B/C certification is highly preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in logistics, shipping, energy, supply chain, or oil & gas is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indonesian tax laws, SAK, BKPM/LKPM reporting, and statutory compliance for PT PMA entities.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken). Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, ORACLE, or similar) and advanced MS Excel.
