Job description for Accounting & Tax Staff at PT Feige Indonesia Consultant
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, disciplined, and motivated Accounting & Tax Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and handling the company’s tax administration in compliance with applicable Indonesian regulations.
Responsibilities
• Record and maintain all company financial transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
• Prepare journal entries, cash and bank reports, and monthly financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial balances are properly matched with accounting records.
• Handle tax administration, including the calculation, payment, and reporting of taxes such as PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, PPh 4(2), and VAT.
• Prepare, maintain, and properly archive tax documents and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and submit tax reports through Coretax, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and other relevant tax systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities when required.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of company financial and tax information.
• Provide financial data and reports to support management decision-making and analysis.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Taxation.
• Good understanding of Indonesian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Coretax, e-Faktur, and e-Bupot.
• Strong understanding of the accounting cycle, journal entries, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using accounting software is an advantage.
• Brevet A & B certification or other accounting/tax certifications is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Mandarin proficiency, both spoken and written, is a plus.
