Job description for Accounting & Tax Staff at Mutiara Harapan Islamic School

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting & Tax Staff to support our Finance team in managing accounting records, financial transactions, and tax-related activities.

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of accounting and taxation, strong attention to detail, and is able to work accurately in a fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
Prepare and manage tax-related documents and reports.
Assist with monthly and annual tax compliance, including calculation, payment, and reporting.
Ensure accounting and tax documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
Assist with PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25/29, and other applicable taxes.
Support the preparation of tax invoices and related documentation.
Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
Monitor changes in accounting and taxation regulations relevant to the organization.
Perform other accounting and tax-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and/or taxation.
Good understanding of Indonesian accounting and tax regulations.
Experience in handling tax calculation, payment, and reporting.
Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
