Job description for Accounting & Tax Officer at MGS Indonesia
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Tax, or a related major.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting and taxation.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and e-Faktur/e-Bupot applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Master the latest tax system application, Coretax.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, good integrity, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Having Brevet A & B tax certification is a plus (tidak wajib).
- Familiar with financial statement audits and experienced in preparing supporting documents and data required for audit purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
- Prepare, and file monthly and annual tax, including VAT/PPN, Income Tax/PPh 21, 23, 4(2), 25 and other applicable taxes, accurately and on time.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
- Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Assist monthly employee payroll accurately, business trip, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Prepare, issue, and send accurate commercial invoices and tax invoices (faktur pajak) to clients in a timely manner.
