About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting and Administration Support to assist with day-to-day financial administration, donor reporting, sponsorship administration, and fundraising operations. This role works closely with the Finance and Fundraising teams to ensure financial records, reporting, and donor information are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain petty cash transactions.
- Prepare, scan, and upload invoices, receipts, and supporting documents into Xero.
- Input and reconcile financial transactions in Xero.
- Prepare donation and fundraising reports.
- Monitor fundraising platforms and ensure donation records are accurate.
- Support sponsorship administration, including pledge forms, outstanding pledge reports, database updates, and university payback invoices and reports.
- Assist with fundraising events and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is an advantage.
- Able to communicate in basic English, both written and spoken.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
