Job description for 3D Artist at Magnus Digital Indonesia
3D Artist
Magnus Digital Indonesia is expanding, and we are on the lookout for a 3D Artist to lead our team in crafting our new immersive experiences. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is confident and resourceful. They must be ready to communicate with our clients, collaborate with Magnus’s partners, and make decisions on the direction of our 3D projects.

Job Description:
- Compose 3D scenes of interior and exterior environments using 3DS Max and V-Ray.
- Work across the whole design process, from concept all the way to delivery.
- Work with our Technology team to bridge the gap between creativity and technology to ensure all projects adhere to technical requirements.
- Provide regular review and feedback on work in a clear & constructive manner.
- Encourage creativity and participation from all team members.
- Actively participate in the constant improvement of processes and guidelines.
- Share knowledge and recommend best practices.
- Collaboratively push the visual quality and standards to the highest level.
- The ability to understand a client brief and translate it into a creative and innovative solution that is client focussed whilst achieving desired business outcomes.
Requirements:
- +5 years experience as a 3D artist.
- Strong portfolio of artwork, both digital and hand-created welcome.
- Sketchbooks and portfolio work to be presented at interview, ideally with a breakdown of workflow/process.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D Studio Max, VRay, Corona, and Adobe Photoshop is ideal, with familiarity with digital artwork production.
- Ability to conceptualize and generate ideas.
- Knowledge of other 3D visualization software such as Cinema4D / After Effects.
- Experience in rigging and animation.
- Experience with projection-mapped animation.
- Experience with Revit and other BIM tools and software.
- To have knowledge and understanding of atmospheric and emotional storytelling.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand, communicate and demonstrate workflows and storyboard artwork production.
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility with a flexible attitude.
- Have a passion to encourage and mentor other team members.
- Able to manage and prioritize tasks time efficiently, demonstrating project management skills to potentially coordinate multiple projects.
